There was an exclusive announcement Wednesday on the Big K Morning Show.
the 100th Anniversary of the Shop 'n Save Westmoreland International Air Show is set for June 21 and 22 at Arnold Palmer Regional Airport.
Airport Authority Executive Director Gabe Monzo says they're expecting huge crowds.
“We say about 100,000 people witness this, every time we have a major airshow and this is going to be a big one,” Monzo told Larry Richert.
You can keep up to date on tickets and other details on the Shop ‘n Save Westmoreland County Airshow’s website.
One of the highlights will be the Canadian Forces demonstration team’s performance.
“The Snowbirds are a super precision team and they do a really nice job, they’ve been here several times but, we also have the United States Air Force F-16s,” said Monzo.
The first air show in Westmoreland County was in 1925, when the airport was called Longview Flying Field.
