PITTSBURGH (100.1 FM and AM 1020 KDKA) A teenager was taken to the hospital in critical but stable condition after being shot in Stowe Township.
According to reports, on Wednesday two boys were walking down a street when a group opened fire at them.
The boys ran to a nearby house for help.
Police say one of the boys was shot once in the upper body and was taken to the hospital and is expected to survive.
The shooting took place just before 4:00 p.m. in the area of Ninth and Bennwood Street in Stowe Township.
According to police and witnesses, the shooting is believed to be a targeted attack.
Three to four rounds of gunfire were heard.
No information has been given on possible suspects.
