Police are investigating after a 15-year-old girl was stabbed at a high school in the Hays section of Pittsburgh Monday afternoon.
It happened around 2:20 p.m. on the 900 block of Agnew Road at the New Outlook Academy.
Pittsburgh Police found the victim suffering from multiple puncture wounds from a pair of scissors to the hands and head. She was taken to the hospital in stable condition.
Police say an initial investigation shows a 14-year-old girl is behind the attack.
The alleged attacker is in custody and charges will be filed.
The New Outlook Academy is an all-girls school.
An investigation into what led up to the incident is underway.
