Two charged in drowning death of teenage girl in West Virginia

A man and woman from Weirton are now charged in connection with the drowning of a 13-year-old Burgettstown girl.

Police say Joshua Lockerbie and Ashley Shelton put the drowning victim, Reese Hanshaw, at risk, along with give other children, by letting them into the water without floatation devices.

The kids ranged in age from 4 to 13.  Hanshaw drowned on June 30 near the Veterans Memorial Bridge in Weirton.
