A fire raged through a two-unit home in Pittsburgh's Beechview neighborhood early Tuesday morning.
It occurred on the 1500 block of Beechwood Ave. at around 4:30 a.m.
Firefighters were able to extract two individuals from the building, one person was in the stairwell and another in a room on the second floor.
A third person was able to escape on their own. A rescued female was given CPR upon extraction.
EMS transported both victims to the hospital, with one person in critical condition and another in stable condition.
There was substantial damage to the building and the owner of the building says there is not much left to be salvaged from the fire.
Authorities are still investigating the scene and determining the cause of the fire.
