A 2-year-old had died after a drowning in East Pittsburgh
Allegheny County Police say it happened on the 500 block of Howard Street just after 1 p.m. Thursday afternoon.
First responders found the young girl unresponsive and not breathing in a pool.
She was taken to the hospital where she was pronounced dead.
Police say, a preliminary investigation shows the drowning appears to be accidental but an investigation is ongoing.
