A non-profit organization is looking to find a home for dozens of cats rescued from what's being described as deplorable conditions in a Fayette County home.
The Ninth Life Rescue Center says the 26 cats and one dog were found to be emaciated, dehydrated and starving.
They say the cats had no food, water or litterboxes in the home, and the house, they say, was covered in trash.
The medical bill for the animals is said to be in the thousands.
