
Two 18-year-old men were arrested after an assault in Downtown Pittsburgh earlier this week.
Pittsburgh Police say officers were dispatched to the intersection of Liberty Avenue and Stanwix Street after reports of a fight.
Police found a man on the ground with “multiple bruises and cuts to his face including a large welt above his eye and a cut lip.”
The victim also “was having a hard time breathing and speaking.”
He was taken to the hospital in stable condition.
Video was provided to the police which shows eight people “kicking and stomping” the victim while he was on the ground.
Police found two of the suspects in Triangle Park, Robert Richard of North Versailles and William Yarbrough of Pittsburgh are charged with aggravated assault.
An investigation is ongoing.
