A home was heavily damaged when a car slammed into it during a late-night police chase in Butler County.
It happened just before midnight as State Police were pursuing Joseph Bailie.
PA State Troopers say he appeared to be unconscious behind the wheel of a running vehicle outside Sheetz on New Castle Street in Butler.
Bailie reportedly drove away from officers who asked for his ID.
Later he lost control of the sedan and crashed through a front porch and into a home near the intersection of New Castle Street and Hansen Avenue.
A release says Bailie was arrested after he ran inside the vacant house and is now facing DUI and other charges.
