Four men are facing animal cruelty charges, after police say they taped mice to fireworks in a Pittsburgh neighborhood last month.
Nerson Amini, Abdi Mnongerwa, Zyquon Tot and Gabriel Metusera were charged after an investigation of videos showing mice attached with duct tape to fireworks before being lit in the Northview Heights area.
Detectives recovered fireworks remnants and a roll of tape after learning about the videos on social media.
Police also say the mice were not stolen, but bought at Petco stores on McKnight Road and the Waterworks Mall.
