A Penn Hills school bus was fully engulfed in flames this morning on Frey Road.
It happened a few minutes before 9 a.m.
40 students were on board and exited the bus safely, with no injuries reported.
The fire damaged overhead utility lines while crews battled the first.
Penn Hills No.7 VFC says the bus was disabled before it went up in flames, giving students time to exit the bus safely.
The students were then put on another bus and taken to school.
That is when the disabled bus started to smoke and then caught fire.
