A couple Big Lots! stores in Western Pennsylvania are reopening after the discount retailer was saved after filing for Bankruptcy last year.
In December, Gordon Brothers Retail Partners, a liquidation firm, sold around 200 Big Lots! Locations to Variety Wholesales, owners of Roses and other discount retail brands.
The Big Lots! locations that are reopening include locations north of Pittsburgh in New Castle and Meadville.
The Du Bois location will also reopen this month.
Variety Retailers is also converting four former Big Lots! locations in Rochester, Greensburg, Penn Hills and Ross Township into Roses.
Across the United States, Big Lots! is reopening over 130 locations.
