Friday night’s weather will be good for high school football playoff games.
Saturday a different a story.
On the Big K Morning Show, Jason Frazier with the National Weather Service said it should be mostly dry during the Pitt/Notre Dame game.
But later in the afternoon there is a higher chance of “gusty wind, showers and heavier rain that could soak you,” said Frazier.
The heavier rain is expected after 5 or 6 p.m. as a cold front comes through with wind gusts of 30 to 40 mph.
If you’re going to the Pitt/Notre Dame game at Acrisure Stadium Saturday, Frazier recommends dressing in layers.
And, as a reminder, Umbrellas are permitted in the stadium but cannot be opened in the seating area.
A high of 64 is forecasted for Saturday but only getting up to 49 on Sunday.
