PITTSBURGH (Newradio 100.1 FM and AM 1020 KDKA) – Gas prices in the area have gone up three cents this week, according to AAA East Central's Gas Price Report.
The price of gas in Western Pennsylvania is at $3.373, up from $3.343 last week, and up from $2.534 during the same week last year.
The national gas price also rose this week coming in at $3.10, matching a seven-year high last seen in early August. The national average is $1.01 more than this time last year.
