Multiple tow trucks, EMS and police were on the scene.

The accident involved a truck or box truck. Traffic was reduced to one lane.

Traffic coming from Rt. 65, Rt. 28, Parkway North, Parkway East and the City of Pittsburgh was extremely heavy.

This comes after Route 28 closed last night on the northbound side between Harmar and the Cheswick exits after stone fall from a roadway on an overhead railroad bridge.

That roadway reopened around 11:30 Friday morning.

PennDOT says the bridge has no structural damage and crews shored up the structure to prevent rock from falling in the future.
