A former Downtown business has returned the Golden Triangle.
AE Works, the architectural and engineering firm has moved back into Downtown Pittsburgh at the Union Trust Building.
It moved to Sewickley in 2020, but is returning because of its optimism for Downtown's future.
That was welcome news to Mayor O'Connor, “because we want people to come back Downtown, but not only people, we want businesses to come back Downtown, knowing that there is great office space that’s so unique to what you all do.”
The company has 10,000 square feet and two floors in the building.
AE Works President Dave Andros called it an investment in the company's people and its future.
“Pittsburgh is where AE Works started, and we believe strongly in where the city is headed,” said Michael Cherock, PE, Founder and CEO of AE Works. “There is real momentum Downtown, and we want to be part of it. We are excited about the leadership Mayor Corey O’Connor and others are bringing to Pittsburgh and proud to make this investment in the city’s future.”
