AHN, Dick's Sporting Goods partner to vaccinate 6,000 in western Pennsylvania

Allegheny Health Network and DICK's Sporting Goods will hold a COVID-19 vaccination clinic on Friday, March 12 with plans to vaccinate 6,000 western Pennsylvania residents who are eligible under the state's rollout plan.

The clinic is open to those pre-registered and as of the time of this writing, all appointments for vaccination have been filled.

“As we continue to provide vaccination to as many individuals in our region as we can, the privilege of serving the community in this unique way continues to inspire everyone at AHN and Highmark Health,” said Cynthia Hundorfean, AHN President and CEO. “We are humbled by the opportunity to make a real difference in people’s lives following such an extremely challenging year for so many. We are also grateful to our friends at DICK’S Sporting Goods for sharing in our mission, and opening their corporate office once again as an AHN vaccination clinic site.”

The clinic is being held at the DICK's corporate office.

Those who receive the vaccine dose at Friday's clinic will need to return on April 1 to receive the second dose.

The clinic will utilize the Pfizer vaccine.
