Alcohol will be available at Cranberry Costco location soon

After years of going dry, at least one Costco in the Pittsburgh area will likely soon offer some of the most popular alcohol in the county.

According to the Pennsylvania Liquor Control Board database online, the Cranberry Township Costco is “pending” a license to sell alcohol at the wholesale location.

Like alcohol sold at other grocery and convenience stores in PA, Costco would need to have separate cash registers and separate seating in order to sell the alcohol.

Costco’s alcohol selection is famous for it’s lower-cost, higher quality wines and spirits.

The Kirkland Signature brand alcohol is popular across the country.

There is no timetable on when the liquor license will be approved.
