Pennsylvania State Police say they are presenting their early findings into the police-related shooting in Aliquippa of a teenager to the Beaver County DA's office.
In their update Friday afternoon, State police say 18-year-old Kendrick Curtis was fleeing from officers with the Bureau of Alcohol Tobacco and Firearms, the FBI and Beaver County Municipal Police Task Force when he fired at officers.
State police say the officers then returned fire, hitting Curtis who was taken to a hospital where he later died.
The incident happened in the area of Waugaman and Tyler Street.
No officers were injured in the incident.
