The revamped, Potato Patch-themed bumper cars are not the only new addition to Pittsburgh’s favorite amusement park.
Kennywood announced several upgrades ahead of it’s 126th season that begins on April 20.
The Turtle ride, near the Thunderbolt has been restored, along with Aero 360.
A new pub is opening as well, based on a popular mascot from the 1970s making his return, Jeeters.
Jeeters’ Pub will have eight draft beers from Pittsburgh brewery, wings, pub snacks, charcuterie boards and more.
An all-new American-themed restaurant called Carousel Burger Co. commemorates Kennywood’s “historic past in the park’s original Merry-Go-Round pavilion.”

Burgers, milkshakes and more will be available at the “bigger and better” restaurant.
Some other improvements include a “completely reimagined” Wacky Wheel ride for kids and a makeover of the Lost Kennywood Gift Shop.
Kennywood has also announced the following entertainment and events happening throughout the season:
The fan-favorite Bites and Pints Food & Drink Festival returns beginning Memorial Day Weekend and runs every Friday, Saturday and Sunday throughout June;
• All-new Celebrate Pittsburgh, every Saturday and Sunday in July, Kennywood will celebrate everything that makes the Steel City a special place to live and play by putting Pittsburgh on display, from arts and culture to sports and beer.
