The Allegheny County Elections Return Board is back to work, reviewing provisional ballots Monday.

They're just one step closer to determining who will be the next Republican nominee for U.S. Senate from Pennsylvania: Dave McCormick or Mehmet Oz.

Here are the latest results: Oz leads McCormick by a little more than 1,000 votes, and right now, the race is close enough that it would trigger a statewide automatic recount.

At the warehouse, the division manager says they'll present their ballot recommendations to the representatives, and then they have the option to challenge or accept them.

"If you would like to appeal our decision whether to count, or not count, you can do that at this point. If you do not appeal our decision, our guys from the warehouse are going to start opening, scanning and counting these ballots today."

So far, there's been one confirmed challenge.

The board will continue to work there Monday, and then they'll reconvene back there again Tuesday morning, and then they are expected to submit preliminary vote counts by the evening.
