Allegheny County District Attorney Stephen Zappala wants to see quick action at the former Century Three Mall site in West Mifflin.
Zappala, joined by West Mifflin officials, said Moonbeam Capital, the former mall owner, is tying up a potential new mixed-use development by Key Development Partners and V-Land Developer owner Steven Panko.
But he's especially concerned about the roads.
“We’re pleased with the state of the demolition, we want this thing done by the spring,” said Zappala. “The people in West Mifflin, the elected officials and certainly . . . the taxpayers have put up with this stuff long enough.”
Zappala showed the concept plan for the site, which would include big box retail anchors, as well as things like multi-family and residential living as well as medical offices.
