A lawsuit filed last week in Allegheny County Common Pleas Court alleges a man was sexually assaulted in his Allegheny County Jail cell, with a spork, while a corrections officer sat at the control desk and did nothing.
The complaint, filed against Allegheny County and Corrections Officer Van Lieu, includes claims for failure to protect, and failure to train, supervise and discipline staff.
The lawsuit seeks compensatory damages.
