Allegheny Health Network hotline helps expedite your care at home

PITTSBURGH (Newsradio KDKA) - Many people in the health field, both here and across the country, have quit their jobs due to COVID burnout.

"There's just not enough staff," said Dr. Brian Lamb, Internal Medicine Specialist at Allegheny Health Network. "Everyone's working to their very tip-top level, but its not enough."

Lamb suggests virtual doctor appointments to help alleviate hospitals and doctors offices.

"They can talk to you about your symptoms, they can talk to you about what's going on, and they can help get you to the appropriate level of care," Lamb said.

To expedite your care from the comfort of your own home, 24 hours a day, call AHN's new hotline: (412) NURSE-4-U.
