Pennsylvania State Police say a 23-year-old man who was receiving care in an ambulance, stole the vehicle and led police on a chase before finally being apprehended.
The incident began around 7 p.m. Wednesday when paramedics responded to a call on Midland Beaver Road in Industry Borough, Beaver County.
As Justin Corrie was receiving treatment, he allegedly stole the ambulance.
Police were able to get the ambulance to stop around State Route 18 in Center Township near a GetGo.
Corrie was taken into custody.
He faces charges including fleeing or attempting to elude police, theft of a motor vehicle and other charges.
