On the anniversary of Donald Trump’s second inauguration, a large protest is planned on Tuesday afternoon in Pittsburgh, part of a larger nationwide demonstration.
The “Pittsburgh Stop ICE Terror” demonstration is planned for 5 p.m. at Schenley Plaza in Oakland.
Pittsburgh Police are aware of planned event and say the protestors may take to the street and march.
The protestors may march to a local search for “Rapid Response Training” that trains people to “witness, document, accompany, and respond safety during immigration enforcement activity.”
While Minneapolis has been the hotspot for recent illegal immigration activity, operations have been reported in the Pittsburgh area since President Trump took office.
Other law enforcement agencies, including Pitt Police, are aware of the planned protests.
