Allegheny County is shutting down the Armstrong Tunnel for a number of hours on December 8.
The closure is to allow Department of Public Works and Duquesne Light crews to inspect electrical vaults in the tunnel.
The tunnel is expected to be closed from 9am to 3pm on Tuesday.
