Now, police say they’ve arrested one of the people they say were involved.

All seven of the stolen vehicles were recovered in New Kensington, McKees Rocks, Wilkinsburg, Pittsburgh and East Pittsburgh.

Police say two men were seen last week taking an SUV from the Sheetz parking lot in New Kensington. They later arrested 19-year-old Markhi Hunter after an officer saw he matched the description of a man seen getting into a Chevrolet Equinox with another person who drove away with it.

The Tribune-Review reports Hunter agreed to talk with police and admitted he was a passenger, but then refused to give them the driver’s name.

Hunter is charged with theft and receiving stolen property.
