
An arrest has been made following Tuesday morning's shooting outside Perry Traditional Academy.
17-year-old Micaiah Wheeler of Forest Hills is facing nearly 30 charges in connection with the incident, including eight counts of attempted homicide.
Police were called to the high school early Tuesday morning when at least 11 shots were fired shortly after 8 a.m.
Wheeler was located Tuesday evening in the city's Hill District neighborhood, where he was arrested and taken into custody.
Bail for Wheeler was denied and a preliminary hearing has been scheduled for next week.
The school is operating on a remote learning schedule Wednesday following the shooting incident.
