A local community is reminding kids and their parents to stay off ball fields after on was damaged by bikes.
The Borough of Aspinwall says children were seen on Wednesday night riding on a baseball field causing damage.
“Our Public Works Department and Aspinwall Tee Ball spend countless hours maintaining these fields, and the Borough has invested significant taxpayer dollars to keep them safe, beautiful, and ready for our athletes,” Aspinwall officials said in a Facebook post.
Aspinwall is asking parents and guardians to remind their kids that fields are not for riding bikes, scooters or ebikes.
Anyone caught riding on a local field is subject to a fine.
