Pittsburgh Police are investigating after an attempted child abduction in the North Side early Monday morning.
It happened around 12:15 a.m. at the Sunoco gas station on the 300 block of Cedar Avenue.
A father told officers his 15-year-old daughter was in the backseat of his car when he went into the convenience store.
While he was in the store, an unknown male opened the back door and tried to grab the girl.
The girl suffered a scratch on her leg, but was otherwise unharmed.
An investigation continues after the suspect was not found shortly after the incident.
