Attorneys for the man convicted of killing eleven people in the Tree of Life Synagogue massacre are appealing his death sentence.
The attorneys for Robert Bowers cited several issues including placing their client in shackles at one point at hearing without providing an in-depth explanation.
The Tribune Review reports the attorneys also say a former Chinese government official was a juror who should not have been permitted to serve, but also felt there was an overall lack of diversity among the panel.
