One Auntie Annie’s location is under Consumer Alert and another is ordered closed at South Hills Village mall after an inspection by the Allegheny County Health Department.
The one ordered closed is on the lower level of the mall and the one under alert is on the upper level.
The one on the lower level was hit with eight total violations including two considered high risk.
A grease trap was found “completely clogged” and was leaking waste water onto the floor. It is believed to be a chronic issue.
Also, several live roaches were found in a utility cupboard under a sink and underneath and around a food prep sink.
“Too many to count” roaches were also ins several other area.
The location on the upper level, under Consumer Alert, was found to have an ice bin “contaminated with dead fruit flies.”
Also, a soiled catering bag was found being used transporting food to the lower level kiosk location.
“Too many to count” roaches both alive and dead were found at the upper location as well.
