
PITTSBURGH (100.1 FM and AM 1020 KDKA) Pittsburgh Fire and EMS performed a hillside rescue in the South Side Friday late afternoon.

On the 3400 block of E. Carson Street, just before 5:00 p.m., reports were given of a man being dragged with his vehicle down a hillside.
Witnesses told responders that the man was attempting to push his disabled vehicle off the road when he lost control and taken down the hill.
At the bottom of the hill is the CSX train tracks.
CSX trains were forced to be stopped while firefighters and EMS crews stabilized the man and took him back up the hill.
The man suffered a broken arm and lacerations to the face; While conscious and alert, he was taken to the hospital in stable condition.
The vehicle was towed from the scene.
