Police in Baldwin are investigating after a woman reported someone tried to kidnap her earlier this week.
The woman told police she was walking home Wednesday night when someone approached her from behind and tried to grab her.
Through self defense, she was able to get away and run home.
Police say they have a few working theories and are asking for help from anyone who many know anything.
