A custodian at Baldwin-Whitehall School District is under arrest on child pornography charges.
Whitehall police charged 55-year-old Michael Siar with 22 counts of possession of child pornography as well as other crimes after allegedly finding thousands of videos and images on his electronic devices of children engaging in sex acts.
Police began investigating Siar in late April after learning the National Center for Missing and Exploited Children received 13 cyber tips about him.
Siar was place don immediate leave at Baldwin-Whitehall and Whitehall Police say Siar “had no access to Baldwin-Whitehall school facilities during this investigation.”
Investigators do not believe any of the photos in Siar’s possession were connected to his job at the school.
A Butler County EMT was arrested over the weekend with indecent assault and endangering the welfare of children.
