A banana throwing incident led to a fight inside an Oakland convenience store last night.
Police say it happened around 8 p.m. at the Sunoco store in the 100 block of North Craig Street.
A police report says the banana tosser punched one of the employees who then picked up a piece of PVC pipe and hit the man in the head, chasing him out of the store.
He was taken to a hospital in critical condition.
Police reviewed store video and arrested one of the employees, charging him with aggravated assault and reckless endangerment.
