One of Pittsburgh's most popular donuts has found a new home on Greentree Road and is now open.
Better-Maid Donut Company announced earlier this year that it planned to relocate following a property dispute with the landlord at its longtime location on Steuben Street in Crafton Heights.
Now, Better-Maid has just reopened at 2101 Greentree Road in Scott Township (the former home of restaurant Albero Verde) with long lines!
Some say they stood in line for two hours on Thursday and Friday waiting for donuts.
Better Maid opened at 7 a.m. Friday and stays open until everything is sold out.
They will reopen on Saturday at 8 a.m. until sold out and are closed for Easter Sunday.
For anyone afraid the donuts won't taste the same, Better-Maid says they are bringing all of their equipment from the Steuben Street location and their donut guy "Ken" is also making the move!
