Billy Joel's July concert at Acrisure Stadium cancelled

Music legend Billy Joel’s upcoming concert at Acisure Stadium has been cancelled due to an ongoing health issue.

The Rock & Roll Hall of Famer announced on his Instagram page Friday that the cancelation is due to “a recent diagnosis of Normal Pressure Hydrocephalus (NPH).”

NPH causes fluid build up on the skull and presses on the brain.

The condition has caused “problems with hearing, vision and Balance” for Joel recently.

Doctors have told Joel to stop performing while he recovers.

“I’m sincerely sorry to disappoint our audience, and thank you for understanding,” Joel said in a statement.

Joel was scheduled to play Acrisure with Rod Stewart July 5. That show, along with all other schedule concerts through July 2026 are canceled.

Anyone with tickets will be automatically refunded.

Joel had to postpone a swath of dates “due to a medical condition” back in early March.

Joel is 76-years-old.
