A Bipartisan task force investigating Trump shooting requests documents in Trump attempted assassination investigation.

The leaders of the U.S. House Task Force on the Trump assassination attempt have sent letters requesting documents and information related to the shooting from several key figures.

Recent hearings on Capitol Hill revealed more details about the shooter and security lapses before and during the rally.

Congressman Mike Kelly, chairman of the task force, has asked Secret Service officials, as well as leaders at Homeland Security,the Justice Department and the FBI to hand over all documents related that fateful day in Butler.

The Post-Gazette reports that the task force is also expected to brief lawmakers and staff members by Friday, to bring everyone involved up to speed on the investigation.
