The Westmoreland County District Attorney's office say a body found Cook Township is that of a previously reported missing woman.
The body, found on residential property on Helens Lane, has been identified as 45-year-old Amy Shipley
On Tuesday, Nicole Ziccarelli's office reported that police were asking for help locating Shipley.
She was last seen on September 8 in the 500 block of West Vincent Street in Ligonier.
The District Attorney's office is pursuing a criminal investigation following the recovery of the body.
No other details are available at this time. Ziccarelli's office and the Westmoreland County Detective Bureau will "release more information when it is appropriate."
