On Friday, UPS will hold a one-day hiring blitz across the country, known as "Brown Friday," including one in the Pittsburgh area.
The company looks to hire 840 new employees to work out of their North Shore and New Stanton facilities.
The event will take place from 10am to 4pm on October 30 at the New Stanton facility or can be attended virtually via a Zoom meeting.
These part-time jobs are seasonal, but UPS says they are a way for people to get a foot in the door which could lead to full-time job.
Nationwide, the company expects to hire 50,000 new employees.
