A busy Pittsburgh roadway is back open after months of construction delays.
After months of construction, Allegheny County officials say work on Browns Hill Road is now complete between Beechwood Boulevard and the Homestead Grays Bridge.
Crews made major upgrades, including concrete repairs, drainage improvements, curb replacement, and new pavement markings as part of a multi-million-dollar effort across several roadways.
The work caused periodic lane closures since August of last year.
While this phase is finished, drivers should still expect some restrictions in the area due to a separate Pittsburgh Water sewer upgrade that remains ongoing.
Browns Hill Road carries more than 40,000 vehicles each day.
