Murrysville's "bug on the pole" will continue as a landmark in front of the former Excel Auto Body shop on Route 66.
The owner of the new business at the location, Murrysville Auto Sales and 66 Custom & Collision, plans to keep the fixture that's been there for the better part of 50 years.
The new owner Michael Pampena tells KDKA Radio there was no way the sign was coming down.
He says the sign has been there since he was a kid in the 1970s.
Murrysville Auto Sales is at 2841 Route 66 in Export, PA
