1:30 UPDATE from Shaler Police: Following K-9 searches of the Shaler Area High School, Middle School, and Elementary School, no weapons were found. Our officers will maintain a presence at the schools though dismissal today.
Shaler police are investigating after a bullet was found on a school bus Wednesday morning.
Police say they're working with the Shaler Area School District, ABC Transit and other law enforcement agencies to find out more about how the bullet got on the bus.
No gun has been found.
Police say they're taking the matter very seriously but there is no immediate threat to the general public.
They're asking parents not to panic.
