The first major snowfall of the season in Pittsburgh caused several accidents around the area, including near the Rt. 885 off ramp in Pittsburgh, right near Baldwin.
Baldwin Fire Rescue says a vehicle crashed into a creek near Streets Run and Baldwin Roads around 6 a.m. Tuesday morning.
Multiple rescue crews responded and helped remove the person from the car and out of the creek.
The victim was treated by Pittsburgh EMS and the scene was cleared, with the care removed from the creek.
Several other accidents were reported around Pittsburgh and the surrounding area Tuesday morning.
The good news, the heavy snow has moved on as roads continue to clear.
