A shocking moment at a busy shopping center when a car plowed into the front of a store.
It was just past 12:30 Friday when Andrew Doehry of McDonald was working at the nearby Market District at Settler's Ridge, in Robinson Township, when he saw the driver of a Honda Civic lose control of her car.
“I just got done loading someone’s car, she jumped the curb toward the end there, came across the street, jumped the curb . . . and smacked right into the pillar,” said Doehry.
Police tell us the driver was taken to the hospital for observation after slamming into the Verizon store, but she apparently just suffered some bumps and bruises when the airbag went off and no one in the store or in the parking lot was injured.
