People inside of a McCandless steakhouse looking to enjoy a nice lunch out, were in for a surprise.
A car came crashing into the front of the LongHorn Steakhouse at McCandless Crossing Tuesday afternoon.
Police say the 81-year-old woman driving the car, first collided with a pickup truck in the parking lot, then went over a curb, through some landscaping, and into the entrance of the restaurant, trapping a female employee under a tire. Fire crews were called in to remove the vehicle and free her.
Both the driver of the runaway car, as well as the employee, were taken to the hospital in stable condition.
Police are still investigating what caused the driver to lose control of the car.
