With the actor’s strike over, film and television productions are getting back to work.
One of the productions looking for paid background actors is “Mayor of Kingstown”, starring Jeremy Renner.
The show airs on Paramount+ and is in its third season 3.
Movie Casting PGH says they are looking for people who can work on multiple days and one or two days infrequently.
Filming will begin in early January and run through mid-year.
People of all ages and ethnicities are wanted to play town locals, police officers, prisoners, restaurant patrons, night blub attendees and more.
“We are looking for a wide range of diversity to create a town similar to Detroit, Michigan. Opportunities for multiple days work throughout the show,” the casting call says.
Shoot days will be 10-14 hours long, possibly shorter.
“American Rust” will also begin filming sometime in 2024.
