A cat in North Fayette may have had to use one of its nine lives if it wasn’t for the quick work of the local Volunteer Fire Department this week.
North Fayette VFD says it received a call from police just after 2 p.m. on Tuesday for reports of a cat stuck inside the engine block of a car.
They say the cat “appeared to have fallen into a valley of the engine bay after climbing in to get warm and couldn’t self rescue, likely due to the size of the patient.”
After removing a few parts of the car, the cat was rescue and officials say “Snowball is doing just fine.”
